Do you have Chemical Engineering experience, and are you seeking a new role in Buckingham? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a full-time Paint Process Engineer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

As a Paint Process Engineer, you will work as a member of the NPI / Manufacturing team to deliver and improve a product and process into manufacturing that meets both the compnay and the customer's expectations for Coating (Hard Coat /Anti-Fog / Aluminising). You will also design for Manufacturing activities throughout the project phase.

To give you an idea of how this Paint Process Engineer role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

  • Manage and create Project Documentation for PFMEA, Process flow, Technical Specification for all elements of coating, etc
  • Design for manufacture activities throughout the project phase RFQ creation through to fixtures concept realization and sign-off derived from PFMEa
  • Manage project development activities and work alongside the NPI Launch Coordinator and manufacturing manager
  • Support new line in production 90 days from sign-off
  • Control and support current manufacturing products

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Chemical engineering role
  • Knowledge of chemistry, including the safe use and disposal of chemicals
  • Maths knowledge
  • A proven track record of manufacturing internal and external coating finishes
  • Six sigma background; Black belt preferable but not essential
  • Good communication skills and ability to lead a team through improvement activities
