We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher looking to make a real impact on students' learning and academic growth. The successful candidate will join a supportive team with excellent resources and facilities, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
- Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of all students, supporting their academic progress
- Monitor and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and extra-curricular activities
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable to change
