KO2's client, a leading company designing advanced AI video tools for monitoring automotive driving styles, is looking for a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a solid foundation in software programming and a keen interest in embedded systems. As part of this hybrid role, you'll work three days onsite in Milton Keynes and have the flexibility to work two days from home.
Role Summary: As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer, you will work within an innovative team, contributing to the development of applications and systems for cutting-edge embedded platform. You will gain hands-on experience with FreeRTOS and MicroPython, while benefiting from ongoing training and support to enhance your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Software: Write efficient and maintainable software for embedded systems using Python, MicroPython, and C.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware components.
- Testing and Debugging: Assist in testing and debugging software to meet system requirements and resolve issues.
- Application Development: Contribute to the development of custom applications.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and embedded software technologies.
