What You Will Do:

- Rapidly provide technical assistance for equipment and plant malfunctions, including fault-finding repairs and refurbishments.

- Develop and refine operating procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.

- Train operators in safe equipment operation, promoting skill enhancement.

- Implement and maintain planned maintenance of jigs, fixtures, plant, and equipment to optimise production efficiency.

- Assist in the integration of new plant and equipment, setting and striving to improve housekeeping standards using the 5S approach.

- Engage in continuous efforts to eliminate waste within the manufacturing process.

What You Will Bring:

- A time-served apprenticeship with relevant C & G Electrical qualification plus 18th edition, or a relevant engineering degree, HNC, or HND.

- Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to injection moulding machines.

- Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

- Experience in PLC programming and fault finding beneficial

- Strong project management skills within a manufacturing setting, with a knack for problem-solving and effective workload management.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
