Network IT is currently recruiting for a Business Solutions Lead, to join our higher education client on a 6 month initial contract.

As the HRP Business Solutions Lead you will play a significant role in implementing the HR and Payroll aspects of a new enterprise system encompassing finance, HR, payroll and student management.

The new system will improve our ways of working, improve employee, budget holder and student satisfaction and simplify our regulatory reporting.

Strategy
    • Understand the requirements that the university wants to work towards in terms of HR and Payroll, ensuring configuration and process align with that
    • Exploit the technology to its fullest extent using process automation and data insights wherever available
Execution
    • Assist the project manager with leading a cross-functional team in the implementation of the HR & payroll modules
    • Assist the testing manager in the preparation and execution of test plans and cases
    • Ensure adherence to project milestones, tasks, and quality standards.
    • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Monitoring
    • Take part in regular status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
    • Monitor risks and issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate potential challenges.
Adaptation
    • Anticipate and address changes in project scope or requirements.
    • Help in developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
    • Maintain flexibility in adapting to evolving project needs.
Closure
    • Take part in a project review to assess successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
    • Ensure the successful transition of the HRP system into the operational phases.
    • Help document and share key learnings for future projects.
Knowledge
    • Demonstrate deep knowledge of HR and payroll process, information systems configuration, user experience, and the UK higher education sector.
    • Understanding of the importance of data in a modern organisation and usage of business intelligence tools to deliver appropriate insights to stakeholders
Skills
    • Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in systems configuration and alignment of business process
    • Strong data manipulation skills dealing with transformation and import
    • Business intelligence (BI) skills, demonstrating anunderstanding of building BI solutions
Abilities
    • Ability to assist in managing and motivating a diverse team of professionals in a matrix-style management environment.
    • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
