Principal HVAC Design Engineer / HVAC Subject Matter Expert – GMP Projects – Pharmaceutical environments – Remote / hybrid working – Contract – high hourly rates!

One of the best and most well known design and build businesses in the UK are looking for strategic placements to assist with ongoing and new projects supporting some of the most well-known pharmaceutical clients in the World.

The business I based in Milton Keynes and the project would require you to be on site for 2 days per week minimum.

These projects are fully scoped and fully costed and perfect delivery is essential.

You will take ownership of design and delivery of major build projects for GMP Clean room environments at pharmaceutical manufacturing sites.

The role:

  • Responsible for leading design services in executing a broad portfolio of projects.
  • Responsibility for design including Building Services and Architectural disciplines.

Principal Accountabilities

Although your Principal Accountabilities are set out below, your role will evolve as you continue to develop into a key member of the project team and therefore you will play an important role in the company as a whole.

  1. Lead the effective execution of design projects to time, cost, and quality targets by personal leadership of the design teams, and by carrying out the appropriate review / monitoring procedures.
  2. Project manage the delivery of design services on selected specific (large / complex) projects directly to time and cost targets working closely with other parts of the business to deliver a fully integrated service.
  3. Ensure the application of appropriate design and engineering standards by demonstrating strategic leadership of projects, and by carrying out the appropriate review / monitoring procedures.
