As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a multifaceted team, ensuring the highest standards in supplier performance, cost management, and compliance. This role requires a strategic approach, implementing processes and procedures to align sourcing plans with business objectives, and developing and nurturing key supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities as Procurement Manager

- Lead and mentor a diverse team to ensure high supplier performance, cost management, and compliance standards are met
- Implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives
- Develop and nurture relationships with key suppliers and internal/external stakeholders
- Uphold and implement replenishment systems
- Provide accurate and detailed reporting
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of lean initiatives and continuous improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilise strong negotiation skills to deliver quality and value
- Align procurement practices with company regulations and best practices
- Collaborate across departments to support cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications

- Demonstrable experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment
- A proven track record of leading high-performing, multifaceted teams
- MCIPS certification is advantageous
- Excellent negotiation, strategic, and influential skills
- Approachable, professional, and able to lead by example
