About the Role:Adaptable Recruitment are working exclusively with a client based in the Deeside area, who are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team. You'll support the Financial Director in managing critical accounting functions, with exposure to multiple areas of finance, including cash management, treasury operations, and both payables and receivables. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of tasks and contribute to the overall success of the finance department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily cash operations, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Support cash flow management to ensure liquidity for business operations.
  • Handle reconciliations of bank statements, posting of treasury operations, and payment preparations.
  • Monitor and maximise returns on investments.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions.
  • Perform credit control tasks and manage payables effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in an accounts assistant or similar role essential
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Treasury function experience is a plus
