ERGONOMIST
New contract opportunity available in Broughton for an Ergonomist and Human Factors Engineer to work with a variety of commercial aircrafts.
- On-site in Broughton
- Initial contract until November 2025
- Flexible Rates Inside IR35
- 35 hours per week over 4.5 days
- 1 stage interview
- BPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship)
WHAT WILL THE ERGONOMIST BE DOING?
This role will involve focuses on optimising human working conditions and the overall system performance for both existing and new manufacturing tooling and processes. The Ergonomics team work closely with design engineering, operations and health & safety. Other roles include:
- Performing ergonomics work analysis of Assembly/ Installation activities
- Identifying work related ergonomic risk factors at the workplace and proposing solutions to mitigate risks
- Applying national laws, regulations and standards related to Human Factors and Ergonomics in your day-to-day decision making
- Supporting Human factor improvement projects with different stakeholders
WE NEED THE ERGONOMIST TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…
- Educated to degree (or higher) level in Ergonomics/Human Factors (delivered by an accredited CIEHF higher education body)
- Confidence to argue/influence capacity in an" engineers" environment to defend end user's requirement modifications when needed
- Ability to obtain a BPSS clearance
