A new contract opportunity is available for a Quality Conformance Engineer in Broughton, focusing on the quality industrialization of Major Modifications.
The position offers a pay rate of £31.56 per hour via Umbrella and requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft manufacturing and process improvements.
The role involves resolving quality issues, deploying APQP and quality standards, and facilitating continuous improvement projects.
Candidates must possess experience with FEMEA, PPV, and Control Plans, along with knowledge of modifications in aircraft.
The initial contract lasts until December 2025, and BPSS clearance is required, with sponsorship provided by the client.

QUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER

New contract opportunity available in Broughton for a Quality Conformance Engineer to support the quality industrialization of Major Modifications

On-site in Broughton
Occasional option to WFH
£31.56ph via Umbrella
35-hour week over 4.5 days
Overtime at a premium rate
Initial contract until December 2025
BPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship)

WHAT WILL THEQUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER BE DOING?

The main responsibility will be to drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and facilitating improvements to increase performance, reliability and repeatability of processes. Other roles include:

Deploying APQP and Quality Standards
Supporting & Facilitating Failure Mode & Effect Analysis
Creating & updating Control Plans to incorporate modifications as required

WE NEED THEQUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…

A sound understanding of aircraft manufacturing and process improvements
Experience looking at preventative and quality methods
Experience with FEMEA, PPV and CP
Experience looking at modifications on the aircraft
Knowledge of APQP methods
