Job Title: ICT Technician

Full time: Monday to Friday

Location: Flintshire and travelling involved to other locations

Job Description: As an ICT Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing technical support to staff, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, both remotely and on-site.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of servers and other IT equipment.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support requests.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an ICT Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications - HNC Level 4 in an appropriate discipline
  • You must have a full driving licence and have access to a car
