We have a permanent Manufacturing Process Manager role available at Tata Steel's Building Systems division in Shotton (CH5). This role is perfect for someone with strong operational, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Shift Patterns:

8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Mon-Thu), 8:30 AM-4:00 PM (Fri), with flexibility

Responsibilities:
  • Represent manufacturing in cross-functional teams, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and address production deficiencies.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and integrate new equipment with comprehensive training and safe working procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including risk assessments and management systems.
  • Act as the operational contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and support audits while promoting continuous improvement initiatives like waste management planning.
Essential Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing or process improvement roles (engineering background preferred).
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Desirable Requirements:
  • A minimum level 5 qualification in disciplines such as Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Leadership & Management, Safety, Materials, or Business Improvement.
  • Experience over qualifications is considered, with a growth plan available for the right candidate.
