  • Up to £44ph inside IR35 for a Design Engineer
  • Up to £52.95 for a Approver/Authoriser
  • Initial contract until 31/12/2024
  • Onsite in Broughton
  • 35 hour working week
  • Overtime available at a premium rate

WHO WE ARE?We are a globally recognized Aerospace and Defence company, looking to employ a Design Engineer to conduct design investigations and formulating technical solutions for a range to tasks.

WHAT WILL DESIGN ENGINEER BE DOING?

  • Managing manufacturing non-conformance, ensuring that all Design, Airworthiness, and safety requirements are met
  • Liaising with other functions to ensure a fully integrated design solution
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Providing reactive and proactive 'lineside' build support and act as the focal point
  • Conducting root cause analysis investigations into abnormalities arising from design queries

WE NEED THE DESIGN ENGINEER TO HAVE….

  • Ability to use CATIA V5
  • Experience identifying risks/opportunities
  • Currently or previously held an Industry recognised design signatory delegation (Design Approval or Design Authorisation) is desired, but not essential to apply.
  • The ability to go through a BPSS check
