Are you an experienced Prototype Build Technician looking to grow your skills and experience working on some of the most innovative designs within the automotive industry?

We are seeking a Prototype Build Technician to join an innovative design company where drawings become reality! Join a team of experts based in Warwick, working within a bay-build environment!

What will a day-to-day look like as a Prototype Build Technician?

Working on an innovative project, set to change the future of mobility, you will join a team of experts on an initial 12-week contract (Outside IR35) to create a one-of-a-kind vehicle from design concept to prototype glory!

Step away from build sequences and jump in to an intuitive approach to vehicle build, working to create prototypes using your skills and knowledge to modify and develop builds to achieve perfection – no two days are the same on this project, you will overcome challenges you’ve never experienced before!

The duties and responsibilities of the Prototype Build Technician:

• Whole vehicle preparation, assembly and build covering Trim and Final Assembly
• Mechanical and Electrical assembly and build tasks including:
• Component assembly & Sub-assemblies – building parts and components from scratch.
• Building whole vehicles from scratch working within a bay-build discipline
• Profiling, panel alignment and gapping
• Fitting part/full interior Trim packages
• Diagnosis and support logging of build issues and engineering improvements
• Reading and interpreting engineer drawings and CAD designs
• Use of a variety of handheld tools.
• Working with precision components.
• Experience working with CMM would be beneficial.

Working hours for the Prototype Build Technician team:

37.5 hours per week (Flexible approach to weekly hours), plus the opportunity for overtime
