As the successful Service Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless design, transition, and delivery of new or modified IT services that align with business objectives and deliver value to Telent Highways clients. From a technology, networking or hosting background, you will have previous experience of engaging with strategic partners and customers to ensure robust solutions are designed, tested and delivered into BAU operations.

What you'll do:

  • Apply ITIL best practices to create efficient, resilient, and customer-centric service management processes
  • Create Service Transition plans for the delivery of new services into operations including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensure Operational Readiness for new or modified service offerings
  • Undertake Post-Implementation Review (PIR) of implemented services
  • You will work closely with the Bid, Pre-sales, and Sales teams to ensure high quality proposals are submitted, and will design high quality support solutions that are fully costed and deliver high value for the customer
  • Assist in translating business and user requirements into functional service designs that are feasible, scalable, and measurable.

Who you are:

The successful Service Designer will have previous experience in a Service Design or Service Transition role, or significant experience in customer service capacity (i.e. Service Management/ Service Desk),

Service Designer Key requirements:

  • Service focussed with an appreciation for understanding technical solutions
  • Self-motivated and capable of working within bid and project timescales and deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain SC Clearance
  • Experience of working in an Agile project delivery framework
  • Experience in creation of Service Design Packs (SDP's) for new or updated complex services
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word skills
  • Have a good understanding of the design concepts of System Thinking, Service Thinking, Design Thinking and Lean Thinking
