Reporting into the Group Head of Programme Management, the Senior PMO Analyst is a critical role supporting the upgrade of Telent's Project Management capability. The role is pivotal in helping to drive best practice, project governance and PM training and development across Telent.

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract which offers hybrid working, with a requirement to be in our Warwick Head Office 2-3 days per week.

What you'll do:

  • Build effective working relationships with members of the Project Management Community, as well as senior management to ensure a pragmatic approach to delivery and appropriate application of the Telent Project Lifecycle methodology.
  • Manage the efficient running of the weekly Project Board aligned to the lifecycle gates.
  • Enable the creation and development of the Project Management training programme to support PM competency development and career pathways.
  • Implement consistent governance and controls to report project Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to key stakeholders, highlighting the risks & issues to provide an early warning mechanism of where a project needs support to enable timely intervention and increase delivery confidence.
  • Utilise industry best practices, techniques, standards and Project Management tools to optimise project delivery.
  • Identify areas for improvement in project performance to drive continuous improvement.

Who you are:

You will have proven experience in a similar role at a senior level with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders in the business, including those at MD & Exec level.

Key Requirements:

  • A high level of general education, preferably a degree-level qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of working effectively to demanding deadlines, prioritising own workload with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of communication approaches, including tailoring messages to suit the audience, along with the ability to form constructive relationships with people at all levels within the organisation.
  • A strong understanding of project lifecycles and recent experience of working as part of a programme management office.
  • Experience of reporting, minuting meetings and providing metrics and other control information to project management and senior management.
  • A confident, enthusiastic, positive, and energetic approach, with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of project support.
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office products
