Site Manager Long term contract! Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join a regional construction services provider and take the lead on a new build industrial development in North Cornwall. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and safely, while also managing a team of staff. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to co-ordinate and supervise multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in site management and possess excellent organisational abilities. Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise staff, and Coordinate with the supply chain and client's representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including reports on progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in site management role gained specifically on general contracting works of £3m + 
  • Solid H & S awareness and the usual SMSTS, CSCS Black or White card plus First aid at work. 
  • Previous Industrial scheme experience and a sound awareness of steel frame works 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing challenges proactively.
  • Ability to work independently reporting into a visiting Construction Manager.
