We are looking for an experienced Site Manager for a new industrial build in North Cornwall.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in site management, specifically in general contracting works of £3m, and possess strong leadership skills.
Candidates must have at least several years of relevant experience and hold necessary certifications such as SMSTS and CSCS Black or White card.
The role involves managing daily site operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
This position offers a competitive salary and requires the ability to work independently while reporting to a visiting Construction Manager.

Site Manager – North CornwallWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join a regional construction services provider and take the lead on a new industrial build in North Cornwall. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and safely, while also managing a team of staff. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to co-ordinate and supervise multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in site management and possess excellent organisational abilities. Responsibilities:

Manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Supervise staff, and Coordinate with the supply chain and client's representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including reports on progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in site management role gained specifically on general contracting works of £3m
Solid H & S awareness and the usual SMSTS, CSCS Black or White card plus First aid at work
BPSS Clearance
Previous Industrial scheme experience and a sound awareness of steel frame works
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing challenges proactively.
Ability to work independently reporting into a visiting Construction Manager.
