Design Technology Teacher Opportunities in Bude, Cornwall

Vision for Education is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join secondary schools in the Bude, Cornwall area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational journeys while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role:

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students across a range of year groups. You will collaborate with other teaching staff, contribute to the development of lesson plans, and ensure that the highest standards of teaching are maintained. This position will include both day-to-day and long-term roles, offering flexibility to meet the needs of local schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons to secondary school students at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

  • Support and guide students in their learning and development in areas such as product design, engineering, and technology

Requirements:

To be considered for the Design Technology Teacher position, you should:

  • Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Hold a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers

  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons in Design Technology
