Role Purpose

To provide administrative support to the project team where required. You will ensure all tasks are carried out to the highest level of accuracy without delay. You will be a valued member of the team and will be responsible for the management/log of all documentation received and distributed.You will have a strong work ethic, ensuringall documentation is produced to the highest degree of quality and accuracy and issued within set timescales.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day administration on site
  • Receipt of delivery notes and liaison with the procurement team regarding the on/off hiring of equipment and plant
  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to site
  • Administering Health and Safety documents, welfare and induction documents etc
  • Book site meeting rooms
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Ordering materials, office supplies and PPE when necessary
  • Liaising with other teams
  • Document control
  • Attending and recording meeting minutes where required

Personal Specification

  • Proven experience in anadmin role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Exceptional organisation skills in managing a heavy workload, whilst consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlines
  • First class communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to maintain accurate and timely records as required by the role
  • Able to handle confidential information and maintain discretion
  • Must undergo BPSS Security clearance prior to commencing employment
