Manpower is hiring a permanent Micro Site Manager for our client, a rapidly growing company with brand-new facilities and cutting-edge technology, dedicated to recycling waste and contributing to green energy!
Our client turns yesterday's cooking oils into tomorrow's energy, recycling waste into green energy to power festivals or support the National Grid.

Must be able to travel to other sites for training - expenses covered!

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day management and operations of site, ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse and logistical activities
  • Leading a team of warehouse and driving staff including training, performance management, and motivation.
  • Accountable for all safety, compliance and quality standards are met
  • Maintain a high level of staff performance and productivity
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the site, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Prepare and submit reports to senior management on site operations, performance, and KPIs
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate site performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate corrective action

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
  • Counterbalance / Reach FLT Licence (preferred)
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally as a site lead managing a team of drivers.
  • Experience managing a small logistics operation in a fast-paced setting.
  • Track record of high-quality customer service and KPI achievement.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
