About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer you will be part of our night shift team to carry our planned preventive maintenance (PPM), handling breakdowns, and installation work on the factory floor. The Flixton site is one of poultry sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery and equipment run smoothly
  • Responding to and resolving breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Performing installation work on new and existing equipment
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers and maintenance staff to maintain high operational standards

About You

You are a detail-oriented and driven individual with a strong background in electrical engineering. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen ability to assess risks and solve problems quickly. Your positive attitude and willingness to work in a poultry environment make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Skills

  • NVQ Level 3 minimum and a diploma in engineering in electrical studies or JIB card
  • Experience working in a FMCG environment
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to assess risk
