Key Responsibilities 路 Provide occupational health cover to agency staff 路 They would actively support the Company health campaigns within the engagement plan improving staff turnover 路 Home visits would support long term sick return to work reducing absence 路 They will be able to advise the site on any changes in law / legislation etc, minimising the legal risks to the company 路 Food handler assessments 路 Advise on preventative healthcare 路 The main part of the role is to undertake confined space health assessments and fork lift drivers health assessments and night shift workers assessments 路 There will be management referrals and advise regarding capability and rehabilitation Key Skills Essential Qualification: 路 Degree in Occupational Health Experience / Knowledge: 路 Forklift Truck medicals 路 DSE assessment (The assessment can be done by anyone trained in DSE assessment, but Occupational Health need to be involved if any problems are found) 路 Night Worker Medicals 路 New and Expectant Mothers Risk Assessment (manager and OH) 路 Skin surveillance 路 Engineers medicals (new starters test for colour blindness) 路 LGV medicals (this is done by the drivers GP and certificates kept with managers) 路 Vibration White finger 路 Lead, Asbestos, Radiation 路 Desirable 路 Drugs and Alcohol Support 路 Health Education
