As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Home Manager in the smooth operation of a residential care home. Your primary duty will be the development, implementation, and monitoring of individual care plans, ensuring each resident receives the highest standard of care.

Successful candidate will:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor individual care plans tailored to residents' needs.
2. Assist with staff supervision, providing guidance and support to ensure a cohesive team environment.
3. Maintain administrative control, ensuring all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
4. Demonstrate a very good working knowledge of CQC essential standards, Local Authority requirements, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety requirements.
5. Be willing to be on call as and when required, providing support and leadership during emergencies.
6. Cover for the Home Manager during their absence, ensuring continuity of care and operations.

Desirable Experience:
1. Previous experience in a similar role within a residential care setting.
2. Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
3. Proven ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
4. Experience in staff supervision and team management.
5. Familiarity with Local Authority requirements and Safeguarding protocols.
6. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations within a care home environment.
