An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Office & Contracts Administrator to join this highly successful, multi award winning Landscape Construction Company, located on the Suffolk / Essex border.
Previous winners at Chelsea Flower Show. This is a company who have earned a reputation for offering first class quality and service with many prestigious commercial and domestic projects completed and currently in progress. The company is forward thinking, professional and growing year on year.
What you will do:
- All aspects of administrative support to the Office & Project Managers for the successful delivery of Landscape Schemes.
- Answering incoming calls, dealing with them professionally and transferring to appropriate person or taking a message
- Managing filing systems in accordance with company practice and contracts
- Ad-hoc administrations tasks
- Ordering various materials and equipment needed for jobs with guidance from Project Managers
- Aiding the team to ensure all compliance is met in accordance with Health & Safety Legislation
- Prepare relevant paperwork for Teams on site & assist with any project based tasks as required
- Vehicle & plant machinery management, use of tracking software and ensuring all vehicles/machinery are maintained and compliant
- Unpacking deliveries, and keeping office tidy
- Checking off deliveries into yard when required
- Ensure administration is up to date for Plant health compliance
- General office upkeep
- Email management
- Document management
- Answering to Senior Contracts Administrator & Project Managers.
Your skills:
- Reliable, punctual, and a polite, with a professional manner
- Proactive, able to prioritise and manage workload
- Previous experience of working in business/office administration and numerically good
- A positive, can-do attitude and a team player
- Organised, efficient person who can work under pressure in a calm manner
- Forward thinking and a confident communicator
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Able to build positive working relationships with suppliers contacts and site Teams
- Fully computer literate particularly in Excel & Outlook, CRM Platform
- At least 5 GCSE’s A-C, A Level preferable
- An interest in Horticulture would be a great advantage
Hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
