Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a background in Simulation machinery or similar looking to step into one of the industry's leading names taking charge of a team of engineers to work on a range of machinery that will help train the pilots of the future?
On offer is the opportunity to work at a company on the forefront of simulation technology. This company is 4 simulation machines and has trained numerous pilots over the years. This company provides their staff support and has an open line of communication between management and their engineers.
In this role, you will be carrying out the day-to-day maintenance of up to 4 full flight simulators, training the junior technicians and communicating with the pilots. Performing secondary duties such as calibrations and tool inspections. Furthermore, you will be performing logistical duties, including parts received, repair and testing/validation as well as administrative tasks as required. This job entails a variable shift pattern, whether that be day or night shifts.
This role would suit a maintenance engineer with a background in simulation machines that desires a management role with the possibility of progression. The company is constantly looking for ways to create a more advanced training experience with new training tools being added to the systems regularly.The Role:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting flight simulators to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
- Collaborating with engineers and instructors to improve simulation accuracy.
- Installing and integrating new technology and software updates.
- Conducting regular system tests and preventive maintenance.
The person:
- Experience in simulation, avionics, or electromechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software integration.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Passion for aviation and innovation in training technology.
