We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to join our client's Training Apprenticeships Team. You'll play a vital role in delivering Electrotechnical training to Level 3 apprentices, ensuring they receive high-quality education and support throughout their learning journey.
The role is based in Burgess Hill and is 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00)
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Training: Teach and assess apprentice groups while managing preparation time effectively.
- Plan and Organize: Develop and maintain Schemes of Work and Lesson Plans aligned to the curriculum, including assignments.
- Collaborate with Assessors: Work closely with on-site assessors to coordinate assessments and Health & Safety reviews as needed.
- Enhance Processes: Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and assessment methods.
- Track Progress: Ensure apprentices meet milestones, maintain accurate records, and provide information, advice, and guidance.
- Compliance: Ensure progress reviews align with Ofsted and funding contract requirements.
- Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service.
- Training and Development: Participate in CPD activities and training as required.
- Safeguarding: Handle safeguarding and disciplinary matters per company policies.
- Site Visits: Conduct on-site assessments and support apprentices in the workplace.
- Level 3 Electrical qualification, including AM2S or a Gold Card.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the electrical industry.
- Current knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Ability to commute easily with learners
- Experience delivering electrical training in a college or training organization.
- Understanding of apprenticeship delivery standards, Ofsted, and funding frameworks.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, enthusiastic, professional, flexible, approachable, and dedicated.
- Work Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and mentoring skills, functional ICT capabilities, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
