Ignata Finance are partnering a profitable SME located in Burgess Hill for the recruitment of a Finance Manager. This role would suit somebody taking their first step out of practice into industry. You will be supported by senior leadership who have made the same journey themselves. Supporting a team of part qualified accountants, you will be responsible for:
  • Complete adhoc and more regular analysis to identify key business trends, and present recommendations based on this work 
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, long term financial forecast for strategic planning and in-year reforecasts as required. 
  • Co-ordinate the monthly management account process, to include preparation of monthly board packs & consolidated accounts. 
  • Prepare Year end statutory Accounts 
  • Day to day transactional responsibilities, including posting of journals and reconciliations. 
  • Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards (FRS 102) 
  • Recommend changes that will improve the company's financial performance, and financial procedures and controls 
  • Support the implementation of new processes and controls 
  • Assist with Group Audit process acting as point of contact for Auditors on specific sections
