Senior Executive Search Consultant

Location: Burgess Hill, RH15 8RG

Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Commission

The Role

To ensure success as a Senior Executive Search Consultant, you should exhibit relationship building, interpersonal and client-management skills. You will also possess the ability to multitask and have high levels of attention to detail and flexibility. 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their organisational needs, corporate culture and leadership requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and maintaining regular communication throughout the search process.

Search Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement effective search strategies to identify potential candidates, utilising a range of research methodologies and tools.
  • Create comprehensive position specifications and candidate profiles, highlighting the desired qualifications and competencies.

Team management:

  • Develop and grow executive search team internationally
  • Manage and lead a team of Executive Search Consultants and Recoursers 
  • Assist on training and development on executive searches 

Candidate Identification and Assessment:

  • Conduct extensive research to identify and attract potential candidates, including executive networks, industry events, online platforms and referrals.
  • Evaluate candidates through in-depth interviews, competency assessments and reference checks to assess their suitability for specific roles.

Process Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview coordination, feedback collection, offer negotiation and onboarding assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all candidate interactions, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on search progress, providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in HR or related disciplines preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a recruiter/ talent acquisition/ executive searcher in recruitment, RPO or executive search.
  • Delivery management of senior candidates and clients.
  • Experience working on senior roles with a £120k-£300k base salary.
  • Experience building and manging a team
  • Deep understanding of executive-level recruitment practices, including search methodologies, sourcing techniques and candidate assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple searches and deadlines concurrently.
