Your new companyA global business with headquarters in Burgess Hill is looking for a Resource Scheduler to join on a temporary basis. This is a 9-month position, with the possibility of extension to 12 months. An established and award-winning organisation, this is an excellent opportunity for an Administrator/Customer Service Professional to gain specialist knowledge within Resource Planning & Supply Chain.Your new roleInitially, you will be responsible for booking in engineers to attend site, coordinating schedules, ordering parts and ensuring items arrive at site prior to engineer visits. You will be a key contact for both customers and engineers, handling queries via email. You will log and update case notes onto CRM in order to track daily activities and provide an audit trail. Over time, the position will develop to include more demand and supply planning. You will identify areas for improvement within the supply chain process, provide demand forecasts, take accountability for inventory management and provide additional insights during weekly team meetings.What you'll need to succeedYou will have previous administration and customer service experience, with excellent organisational skills. Previous work history of scheduling/planning of service activities is beneficial (i.e. scheduling engineers/route planning/coordinating services/order processing). You will have previous knowledge of ERP or CRM systems, such as SAP as well as strong written/verbal communication skills. You will be able to work well within a team and independently and be able to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders.This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Burgess Hill HQ, so you will be based within a commutable distance. What you'll get in returnYou'll receive an hourly rate of £15-17/hr plus 28 days holiday, working 37.5 hours/week. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm. Free parking is available on site.
