Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong electrical background and a passion for facilities maintenance? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, where you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of maintenance services on a busy commercial site.
The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week on a static site in Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Maintenance Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying and rectifying any maintenance issues.
- Perform hands-on electrical maintenance tasks, including fault-finding, repairs, and installations.
- Manage the scheduling and completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on maintenance activities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including job sheets, risk assessments, and service reports.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
- Electrical Qualifications: Must hold relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the facilities maintenance industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
