The role:

We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded, local family run business in their search for a part time Purchase Ledger. This role will provide vital support to the Head of Purchase Ledger and wider accounts team to ensure the accurate processing of invoices, payments and reconciliation. Experience in a similar role is essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process and scan invoices daily, ensure payments are made in a timely manner and regularly reconcile supplier accounts. Maintain all purchase ledger records accurately.
  • Support and cover all colleagues which may include answering incoming calls and emails and handling supplier or customer requests.

Requirements:

It is essential that you have Purchase Ledger experience and can confidently complete bookkeeping tasks to a very high standard. Accuracy and attention to detail are vital to this role, as is experience using accounting software (Sage desirable). You will need to be team focused with great initiative, and the ability to be flexible towards your workload.
