Title: Payroll SpecialistLocation: Remote with once a month in LondonSalary: £35,000-£40,000Contract: Permanent  JGA are partnered with a exciting, scale up business who provide a range of Payroll, Pension and Compliance Services to their expanding client base.  Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll accurately and timely for clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in our systems.
  • Handle payroll queries from employers, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify areas for improvement in the software and processes.
  • Assist with testing and implementation of software updates and enhancements.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of workplace pension schemes, including enrolment, contributions, and reporting.
  • Host client onboarding calls as well as potential client calls to explain our payroll offering and demo our system
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
  Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Experience with workplace pension administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • You should be comfortable working independently as the sole payroll administrator.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Attentive to detail and organized.
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage several jobs at one time.
