Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Commissioning Home Manager to join a well-established residential care home in West Sussex As the Commissioning Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the home's operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and driving business performance. You will take ownership of the home, develop a strong team, and work towards achieving excellence in care and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and high standards of care.
  • Manage the home's P&L, working towards company targets and financial objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and retention of a dedicated team, promoting a positive working environment.
  • Lead the commissioning process, implementing strategies to enhance care delivery and improve occupancy.
  • Take ownership of the home's success, driving improvements and fostering a culture of excellence.

Person Specification:

  • Commissioning experience is preferred
  • Registered Management experience in a similar-sized private residential home
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record of managing P&L and achieving company targets.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving excellent CQC results.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, develop, and retain a motivated team.
  • A hands-on leader who is passionate about improving care services and making a positive impact on the home.
