We are delighted to be working with Toyota Manufacturing who are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Body Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will gain exposure to various aspects of their business while taking on responsibilities that will challenge your problem-solving abilities and enable collaboration with individuals at all organizational levels.

The Body Division, encompassing both the Press and Weld departments, is responsible for manufacturing body-in-white components using advanced automated processes and the latest technologies. Your role will involve a mix of office-based planning and shop-floor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Body Engineer, you will support production operations and lead initiatives, including:

  • Facilitating the seamless introduction of new technical systems or process changes.
  • Planning and overseeing contractor work within the department.
  • Identifying and implementing system improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with production teams to investigate and resolve issues related to safety, quality, or cost.
  • Partnering with local and international suppliers to enhance quality and address production challenges.
  • Driving energy and CO2 reduction initiatives to support their carbon neutrality goals.
  • Contributing to future vehicle projects, including motorsport and new mobility solutions.

The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of a 2:1 Engineering degree in a related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Systems) and will work alongside a supportive team of engineers and managers who will help you achieve your objectives and grow professionally in line with your aspirations.
