Shunter Driver

StaffCo Direct are operating as an employment business and actively recruiting for skilled and experienced shunters for our client based in Burnaston.

Pay Rates (PAYE):

·        Fixed Day Rota – £14.68

·        Fixed Day Rota Overtime – £19.33

·        Fixed Night Rota – £17.72

·        Fixed Night Rota Overtime – £24.20

·        Rotating Shifts – £16.19

·        Rotating Shifts Overtime – £21.73

Weekly holiday pay is accrued or paid weekly in addition to the above rates.

Responsibilities & Job Information:

·        Day rota is 05:30 to 14:30

·        Night rota is 15:00 to 00:00

·        Overtime is payable after 45 hours per week

·        Using a Terberg or unit (sometimes) to safely move trailers around the yard and backing on to unloading bays.

·        Work closely with the warehouse team and supervisors to ensure trailers are moved correctly and safely.

Requirements:

·        A valid Class 1 or Terberg licence.

·        Experience in shunting or a similar role.

·        Knowledge of HGV safety guidelines and regulations.

·        Great communication skills

·        Professional attitude
