The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours:Shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends will be included and drivers MUST be able to accommodate for Fridays and Sundays)

Start times between 16:00pm - 18:00pm but drivers may be required to do some nights.

Pay Rate:13.01 - 14.38 per hour, Increasing to 13.71 - 15.08 after 12 weeks (PAYE)

The role:

Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.

Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.

Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average day.

Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.

Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

Excellent communication skills.

A safety-first mindset.
