Ada Meher are currently partnering with a client based inSheffield who are looking for a Head of Infrastructure and to drive forwards theirCloudInfrastructure, Cyber Security & Service Desk on a hybrid remote basis. This will involve oversight of the team working onimproving the availability and scalability of theirdeveloper and client environments usinga variety of AWS technology, including Terraform, as well as a more hands on involvement in improving the companies Cyber Security practices and helping to achieve both ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials + accreditations.
The company are looking for a candidate who has exposure to line management of Cloud professionals as well as experience instigating and driving transformative AWS projects as they seek to constantly improve their AWS/Terraform estate. They are also looking for someone with a background in more traditional IT and also experience implementing new Cyber Security policies.
In terms of working flexibility, the company employ a fully flexible hours policy, allowing employees to complete their responsibilities and tasks around their life commitments, not the other way around. However, given the nature of the role they are looking for someone local to Sheffield who is able to be in the office a few days per week.
To be considered:
- Expert experience working with AWS services and architecture
- Experience implementing new Cyber Security policies (ISO 27001 & Cyber Essentials +)
- Proven management experience
- Background in traditional IT (eg Active Directory, Windows, Office365)
- Excellent communication skills are a must
