Job Title: Sales Negotiator

With offices across the region, they pride themselves on their excellent customer service and deep knowledge of the local property market. This role is based in Burnham-on-Sea.

Role Overview:An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time Sales Negotiator / Trainee Property Consultant to join a highly successful team. This role offers the chance to work across both sales and lettings, providing valuable experience and career development in the property sector. Benefits include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registering purchaser/tenant details and matching them to available properties
  • Maintaining full documentation of all applicants, their requirements, and actions
  • Booking property valuations
  • Carrying out accompanied viewings with purchasers/tenants
  • Negotiating property sales and lets, liaising between landlords/tenants and vendors/purchasers
  • Working closely with other Negotiators, sharing information to secure business
  • Liaising with solicitors, mortgage lenders, and surveyors during sales progression
  • Collaborating with the property management team to address tenant and landlord concerns
  • Monitoring the local property market, identifying trends and opportunities
  • Providing excellent customer service to maintain the reputation of the company

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months estate agency experience (Sales Negotiator role)
  • Passion for property and knowledge of the local area
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Confident and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach
  • A full UK driving license is essential

Package and Benefits:

  • Salary: From £23,500 DOE - 1% commission on office sales after 6-month probation period
  • Possibility to start commission from start of role, subject to experience
  • Full training provided
  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am - 4pm (with a day off in the preceding week)
