They are now recruiting for a Finance Transactions Officer on a full-time basis for 6 months. You will work 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a fast paced environment. Purchase ledger experience is essential. There is a possibility that this job will become permanent.Your new role as the Finance Transactions Officer:• Process creditor invoices via the accounts payable system and ensure payments are made on time• Perform weekly payment runs, ensuring suppliers receive payments within agreed terms• Raise and reconcile purchase orders and sales invoices for external customers• Manage credit and debit balances, including handling credit card top-up requests• Administer insurance claims and support the annual renewal process• Handle property disposals related to Right to Buy and Right to Acquire schemes• Post direct debit payments and housing benefit payments from councils onto our system• Provide support and advice to internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries efficiently• Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain accurate financial recordsExperience & Skills required to apply:• Purchase ledger experience• Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Experience of working independently and to tight deadlines• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office, with an ability to use and develop Excel spreadsheets• Familiarity with finance systems such as Open Accounts and Active H (not essential)• Experience with sales ledger accounting processes (not essential)Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
