They are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.Your new roleAs a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in their finance team. Your responsibilities will include preparing and calculating month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income. You will be responsible for the preparation of Management Accounts for several limited companies within the Group, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the Profit & Loss packs and balance sheet reconciliations. Your role will also involve capitalising assets, running depreciation, and managing extensive intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Additionally, you will assist with the Group VAT return and payment process and support the Head of Finance with various ad hoc projects. This role is office based, with an early Friday finish of 2:30pm. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should be part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE, with AAT qualification as a minimum. You must have strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload, and work to deadlines. A high level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience using Sage Line 50 is preferred. You should have at least five years of experience working in accounts, with a minimum of three years producing Management Accounts.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a competitive salary up to £45,000, dependent on experience.
