Client Details
You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reports, providing valuable insights into business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in managing budgets, forecasts, and helping to shape the financial future of a rapidly growing logistics business. You will be based out of the Burnley office.
Description
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
- Creating business strategies to generate shareholder value.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Sound business knowledge.
- Sharp problem-solving skills.
Job Offer

- An annual salary ranging from £36,000 to £44,000 GBP.
