Your new companyI am working with a highly successful logistics company based in Burnley, where innovation and excellence are at the heart of everything they do. They are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. Your new roleAs a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in their finance team. You will manage your own set of accounts and work within a successful and well retained finance team. Your responsibilities will include preparing and calculating month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income. You will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts for several limited companies within the Group, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the P&L packs and balance sheet reconciliations. This role would suit someone who has at least 1-2 years experience with management accounts. This role is office based, with an early Friday finish of 2:30pm. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should be part ACCA/CIMA , with AAT qualification as a minimum. You must have strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload, and work to deadlines. A high level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience using Sage Line 50 is preferred. You should have at least five years of experience working in accounts, with a minimum of 1-2 years producing Management Accounts.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a competitive salary up to £38,000, dependent on experience. You will work in a full-time, permanent position, 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.
