RG Consultancy are working closely with an excellent engineering company based in Burnley, Lancashire who are looking for an ambitious accounts assistant to join them on a full time permanent basis. The company are a small-medium size turnover and this role would suit someone who is keen to learn and develop. This role is reporting into the financial director and will join a team of 4 within the department (including this position)
Duties include:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Matching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Chasing debt via email, letter and telephone
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with accruals and prepayments
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts
- Other adhoc duties within the finance team
Skills:
- Strong IT skills are required for this role
- Basic MS Excel skills would be an advantage
- Ambitious, keen to develop within accounts
