Our client who is based in Burnley is currently recruiting for someone who is experienced Accounts Assistant to join them, working as part of a friendly and busy team on a full time, permanent basis.

The role will be be part of a small sales ledger team and duties will include;

  • Duties will be:

    - Credit control - internal and external debtors

    - Collating & posting the banking

    - Posting remittances and items off the bank

    - Reconciling the bank

    - Reconciling Service Plan direct debits & dealing with any variances

    - Collating and posting the internal sales & vehicle sales ledgers (intercompany)

    - Any ad-hoc duties to assist the team

The successful candidate will have experience of an accounts assistant/sales ledger assistant and working in a busy environment. A good understanding of Excel and fast data entry skills are also key to the success of the role.

Ideally I want someone with motor trade experience but not essential.
