We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial processes, streamlining operations, and ensuring cost-efficiency. This part-time role (3 days a week) offers flexibility with a hybrid work arrangement, supporting both the Finance Support Officer and Accountant in various finance tasks.
- Process and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Collaborate with external factoring companies to manage invoice financing and reconciliations.
- Assist in maintaining financial records, ledgers, and accounts in QuickBooks.
- Support in preparing financial reports and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations.
- Help streamline and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle bank reconciliations, ensuring financial transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.
- Assist with budget monitoring and expense management to support cost control initiatives.
- Liaise with suppliers and resolve any payment or invoicing issues promptly.
- Provide general support to the Finance Support Officer and Accountant in day-to-day finance operations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes as required.
