Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in assemblies, your role will focus on
optimizing and overseeing complex manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
• Defining and implementing assembly manufacturing processes to ensure
consistency, compliance, and alignment with product design specifications.
• Designing manufacturing processes to meet or exceed customer demand by
ensuring sufficient capacity and capability.
• Creating and validating standard operating procedures, work instructions, and
quality control points, including methods of inspection.
• Ensuring that effective tooling strategies, layouts, and appropriate equipment are
in place.
• Managing and creating documentation such as bills of materials (BOMs), layout
designs, tooling designs, and data sheets.
• Planning and coordinating activities contributing to the industrialization of
production, working with various departments (methods, purchasing,
engineering, etc.).
• Evaluating risks and identifying root causes through risk analysis, including
leading Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities.

Candidate Skills & Requirements:
• Proven experience with complex assembly manufacturing processes, ideally
within the aerospace sector.
• Strong understanding of machining, assembly techniques, tooling, and methods
of quality assurance.
• A degree or equivalent in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, or materials),
with hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in using CATIA V5 modelling applications to interrogate 3D
component information.
• Experience in implementing and managing process optimization and continuous
improvement initiatives
