Our client is a Machinery Manufacturer in the Burnley area looking to welcome a Quality professional to their team.

Offering strong training alongside existing Quality Engineers, and even the prospect of gaining Internal Auditing certificates with the business, make this a unique opportunity.

Who This Job Would Suit
This role is ideal for an experienced Quality or Compliance professional with a strong background in precision engineering and quality systems, particularly those skilled in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Candidates who thrive in collaborative environments, are detail-oriented, and enjoy interacting with cross-functional teams to drive quality standards will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead corrective action processes and root cause analysis for quality issues across manufacturing, assembly, and supplier operations.
  • Collaborate with quality inspectors, supply chain, engineering, and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of corrective actions and training activities to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports, manage document control, and maintain compliance records.
  • Support internal and external audit programmes to ensure ongoing quality compliance.


Requirements:

  • Strong IT & Systems skills.
  • Experience as a Quality officer, Quality administrator, Document Controller or similar.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Experience or knowledge in internal audit processes


Location: Burnley
Perm: up to 35k (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week. Flexible hours, early finish Fridays.
Benefits: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, 3 x Death in Service, Bonus, Medicash.
