Quality Engineer

RPS are working in conjunction with a well established automotive, aerospace and defence component manufacturer in Burnley, who following a period of growth are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join them on their Burnley site.


The Quality Engineer will be responsible for;

* Acting as the first point of contact for customer related quality issues
* Completing 8D reports
* Leading material review board meetings
* Supporting the NPI function through completion of PFMEAs and PPAPs
* Supporting the lay out inspection function

The ideal Quality Engineer will have/be:

* 2 + years in a similar Quality Engineer role
* Experience in a heavily regulated manufacturing industry (automotive, defence, medical)
* Experience ofPFMEA, Control plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8D and process capability tools
*Working knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF 16949 required
