Role Objective:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to produce semi-finished products, ensuring quality standards and meeting production targets in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Equipment Operation:
    • Operate production machinery, such as saws and conveyors, following standard procedures to meet production goals.
    • Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
  2. Maintenance:
    • Conduct daily maintenance checks and report equipment performance.
  3. Health & Safety:
    • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Report safety incidents and support safety initiatives.
  4. Problem Solving & Improvement:
    • Assist in resolving production issues and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production and quality objectives.
Key Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to standard processes.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working in a team environment.
Key Requirements:
  • Education:Minimum of basic vocational qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience:Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of production processes.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Familiarity with performance measurement tools like OEE.
  • Ability to assist in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
